Lunch & Dinner Kits
Build and pre-order your home-cooked pre-prepared meal kit for two before you head out for the day.
Kits will be placed in your room's fridge by housekeeping. Meal kits take 3-10 minutes to heat through in the microwave and plate depending on your selection.
Our focus is on Guatemalan classics, and some international favourites that can be created from what we can harvest from the reserves' kitchen garden and our local community markets.
This is feel-good food and not just because dishes are comforting and hearty! Our ingredients are 100% locally sourced which supports the local economy and keeps our carbon footprint (and yours) tending to zero.
All of the selections are based on portions for two people.

Drinks
Wine
Wine from wine grapes is not produced in Guatemala because there are no microclimates suitable for wine grape species. So our house red and white wines are selected from our closest territories in North America and South America.
Guatemala is famous for sugar cane so if you are searching for a local beverage rum is your opportunity! Seasonal fruit wines such as nÃspero (loquat) are also an interesting experience.

Tamales
Tamales are a traditional food eaten in Guatemala on special occasions, especially during Christmas time and other holidays.
Wrapped and steamed in banana leaves, this corn flour based food typically has a pork or chicken stuffing (or more historically a relative of the possum) and is glazed over with a flavoursome tomato-based sauce known as recado. It is garnished with green olives and sweet peppers.
